Richard Chwaszczewski, Treasurer

Richard Chwaszczewski is an Engineering Manager and Assistant Vice President with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). His office supports the submarine silencing for the Navy. Rich is a retired naval officer who served in submarines, at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and for a naval laboratory. He is a new resident of Belfair, having lived nearly 30 years on Vashon Island, before running a horse ranch in Port Orchard, then moving to Belfair. Rich is married to the former Beth Van Leeuwen of Bremerton. They have three sons, Mike, Ken, and Max. Rich is active in Washington State wrestling as a match and tournament announcer. The last ten years he has announced the annual Mat Classic State Tournament in the Tacoma Dome. In addition, Rich is a co-owner of a concrete construction company – MPC Construction Company LLC – with his youngest son, Max.
