Teresa leads the HCSEG’s portion of the Hood Canal Steelhead Project.  The study is evaluating the benefits and risks of using hatchery supplementation to help rebuild threatened steelhead populations.   As part of this project, Teresa oversees the operation of three rotary screw traps, redd surveys, embryo collections, and summer juvenile sampling.  Teresa is currently working towards a Master of Science in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington.  She has been involved in the Hood Canal Dissolved Oxygen Program, the Derelict Fishing Gear Removal Program, and the HCSEG internship programs.  Teresa is a previous four year intern with the HCSEG and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Washington University.
